Welcome to my shop! The Butterfly and The Snail fascinator is a truly unique creation, comprising a snail shell base, a fluttering handmade butterfly and finished with beautiful peacock sword feather and complementing turquoise and burgundy coq feathers.

The base of the fascinator is a teal piece of sinamay stitched to burgundy/wine coloured felt and then overstitched in an amazing swirl giving the effect of a snail shell. It is then decorated with a gorgeous burgundy machine embroidered butterfly which has been designed and handmade by me and then trimmed with tiny blue beads on the feathers. Each of the machine embroidered motifs is made individually and is a one off!

The design is then finished with a beautiful swirling peacock sword feather and fluttering coq feathers in burgundy and turquoise.

The structure is then secured by hand to a clear plastic comb.

The colour on the photographs is an accurate reflection of these two vibrant colours.

This is a real statement piece and looks amazing worn at the side of the head, or lower with a side bun or alternatively at the back of the hair if worn in a chignon. The fascinator is entirely sewn by hand and then hand finished, giving it a really secure and firm structure. It is a unique, one off item.

The snail base measures 8x7 cm, the butterfly measures 12x8 cm, the overall design including feathers measures roughly 19x17

Flutterby Butterfly Fascinator in Pink and Purple

Welcome to my shop! This is a really fun and floaty fascinator with delicate butterflies appearing to flutter around the swirls of netting, feathers and sinamay.

The main structure of this very very sweet fascinator is made from hand curled and shaped sinamay, then sewn together with beautiful biot feathers, and finished for that really ethereal look with gathered "merry widow" veiling. The finishing touch to this unique piece are the two playful hand painted feather butterflies which are carefully hand sewn to the net and one of the biot feathers which flutter with the movement of the head!

The structure is then secured by hand to a clear plastic comb.

This is a truly stunning and unique fascinator with the amazing colours of spring. I have designed it myself to give a real sense of spring and summer.

The last photograph on the listing is the most accurate indication of the colour of this piece - it is royal or cadbury purple - unfortunately my camera has really picked up the blue tone.

This is a one of a kind, handmade from a beautiful shimmering gold sinamay, and topped with a machine embroidered lacy heart - handmade by me. Poppy Red Machine Embroidered Butterfly Sinamay Fascinator

 

Amazing Bespoke handmade fascinator featuring red hand twisted sinamay and an amazing handmade fluttering butterfly. This is a one of a kind, handmade from a scarlet sinamay, I have then created a sewing machine embroidered butterfly which floats on the fascinator like a piece of lace. The butterfly has then been hand embellised with glass crystal beads to give a subtle sparkle.

Then it is worn the butterfly looks as though it has just landed, and moves asthough almost alive with the movement of the head because of the way it is balanced on the sinamay! The fascinator is entirely sewn by both sewing machine and then hand finished, giving it a really secure and firm structure. It is then mounted on a clear plastic comb, which again is hand sewn on. Amazing Bespoke handmade fascinator featuring Peacock Eye and Peacock Sword Feathers. This is a one of a kind, handmade from beaufifully embroidered turquoise fabric with navy blue stitching. It then has amazing gold sinamay curls, and sculpted peacock feathers. The fascinator is entirely sewn by both sewing machine and then hand finished, giving it a really secure and firm structure. It is then mounted on a clear plastic comb, which again is hand sewn on. This is the first of my new creations to be listed on etsy, I hope you like it!

The fabric circle has a diameter of 10 cm and overall the fascinator measures roughly 22 cm across and 18 cm high
